In memory of Caroline Dawson

The late author, sociologist, and teacher Caroline Dawson (1979 – 2024) inspired us all with the passionate way she lived her life and loved her family, including her children, husband, parents, brothers, friends, and colleagues.
Her legacy lives on through those she touched, both personally and in her work, such as the award-winning novel Là où je me terre (And the Andes Disappeared), a collection of poetry, and a children’s book.
Deeply moved by her story, we were humbled by the chance to connect with Caroline, who kindly accepted our invitation to share her experience to help support cancer research and patient care through the Together Against Cancer campaign. Sharing her journey was important to her.
Sadly, Caroline’s courageous fight with cancer came to an end May 19, 2024.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.
We present this video tribute in her honour.
